Partial Hospitalization provides intensive treatment on an outpatient basis for clients with serious addiction challenges that have sufficient supports to engage in treatment in the community. According to a planned regimen, services are provided with regularly scheduled sessions almost daily with 20 or more therapeutic hours per week. This form of treatment includes group sessions along with individual sessions.
Halfway houses provide a live-in combination of therapy and support and are offered to recovering individuals who have completed prior treatment, who may be homeless or near homeless and unemployed or need intensive help for a successful transition to sober, independent living. Self-sufficiency is the goal.
Residential treatment provides an intensive live-in therapeutic environment. The specific program length of stay (varying from 28 to 180 days) is based on individual needs. Treatment subcontracts include various programs, ensuring that clients' needs are met, whether they are adolescents, women, women with children, Spanish speaking only, have co-occurring drug and alcohol and mental health disorders, or are involved in the criminal justice system.
Withdrawal Management provides clinical supervision and assistance in managing withdrawal for drug and alcohol dependent or intoxicated individuals. Withdrawal Management can be medically monitored or medically managed.
In these residential environments, typically located in a hospital, there are medical staff available 24/7 to provide care to individuals with medical conditions that need managed.
